The Lyceum Circle is an artistic initiative founded in 2026 by mezzo-soprano Maria Schellenberg and partners. Inspired by Aristotle's Lyceum, it brings together artists, scholars and curious minds through performances, conversations and interdisciplinary collaborations.

The Circle explores the belief that great art does not emerge in isolation. It flourishes where music meets philosophy, where painters speak with singers, where historians inspire composers, and where curiosity is valued as highly as technical excellence.

The Lyceum Circle is steadily growing through performances, collaborations and educational projects. Its long-term ambition is to establish a seasonal academy where artists from different disciplines gather to create, reflect and exchange ideas in an environment that values both artistic excellence and thoughtful living.

The Lyceum Circle welcomes collaborations with: concert halls, libraries, museums and galleries, festivals, universities and conservatoires, schools, arts organisations, independent artists.
